Uzbekistan - Export Clearance Fees and Charges Reduced by 30 percent

Pursuant to Subclause "b" of Clause 2 of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-174 dated August 27, 2026, a 30 percent reduction in individual fees and payments levied upon the export of goods is established starting October 1, 2026.
The 30 percent reduction applies to the following four categories of expenses:
customs clearance fees for exported goods;
fees for obtaining a phytosanitary certificate;
expenses for conducting fumigation procedures;
charges for obtaining a certificate of origin of goods.
This measure aims to reduce transaction costs for export-oriented enterprises and enhance the competitiveness of Uzbek products in foreign markets.
Decree entered into force on August 27, 2026. The fee reduction applies from October 1, 2026.
